One of the most interesting personal accounts of what it means to grow up as a psychic is 'Diary of a Psychic' by American psychic Sonia Choquette. Her book details her experiences during a time when being psychic was even less accepted by society than it is now. Her determination and commitment to her craft has led to an impressive international reputation, but I enjoyed the book because of her candidness about the occasions when things have not gone well; the difficult readings, the testing clients, the times when she has made mistakes. For this reason, it's a great pick me up at the end of a bad day!
