Obscure and otherwise forgotten vintage recordings are breathed new life by You Tube. Whole new worlds can open up, populated by interesting and exceptional figures from a buried history.
One such find was Alan Watts (1915-1973) who held both a master's degree in theology and a doctorate of divinity He is best known as an interpreter of Zen Buddhism in particular, and Indian and Chinese philosophy in general. He authored more than 20 books on the philosophy and psychology of religion, and lectured extensively, leaving behind a vast audio archive which is still available to listen to today. With characteristic lucidity and dry wit Watts unravels the most obscure philosophical knots with the greatest of ease.

There are also several excellent and humourous interpretations of his teachings by South Park's Trey Parker & Matt Stone, found in several postings on YouTube.com (for example here, South Park Zen).
