New Yorkers turn to 'power psychics'

The New York Times recently ran an article called 'Meet the Power Psychics' about how successful New Yorkers are turning to card readers and clairvoyants for advice on career, love and money.

The article made me feel a little uneasy about the ethics of a few of the psychics interviewed, namely due to a few of the claims made (“I run people’s lives," said one) as well as the name-dropping. However, the article highlights the renewed appeal of psychic information amongst young and upwardly mobile New Yorkers in 2012...
